What are annotations?

An annotation is a piece of extra information associated with a particular section in an image.

REV offers its users the option to use different types of annotations that are created to serve different purposes. We shall discuss each one of them in detail in the later sections.

Different types of annotations offered by REV

  1. Annotate- This option allows the user to add additional notes to the images.

  2. Highlight- This option allows the user to highlight any desired section of the image.

  3. Redact- This option allows the user to redact or censor a section in the image. This is usually done for legal or security reasons.

  4. Clear- The clear option acts like an eraser and is used to clear any of the pre-added annotations.

  5. Show original- This option lets the user see the original version of the image (without any added annotations).

  6. Rotate Left- This option is used to rotate the image at 90 degrees to its left direction

  7. Rotate Right- This option is used to rotate the image at 90 degrees to its right direction
